Dr. Douglas S. Milner, DDS

Originally from Cashmere, Washington, Dr. Milner attended Washington State University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Zoology in 1987. From there he went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Washington in 1991. He graduated in the top five of his class and was awarded membership in the Omicron Kapp Upsilon Dental Honor Society.

Dr. Milner has always had a passion for learning and sharing his knowledge with his colleagues. He was invited to serve as a part time faculty member at the University of Washington in the removeable prosthetics department immediately after graduating. He maintained this position along with his participation in private practice before moving back to the Wenatchee Valley in 1994.

He received his accreditation from the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry in 2014. Dr. Milner is one of less than 500 dentists worldwide that have received accreditation from this prestigious, cosmetic dental organization. In addition, Dr. Milner is a Visiting Faculty Member for Spear Education – a post graduate training facility that teaches dentists from all over the world about excellence in dental care, with a special emphasis on treatment planning and restoring patients with more complex dental problems.

Dr. Milner has published articles in the Journal of Cosmetic Dentistry and the Dental Economics journal. He participates in a local study club, is a member of the American Dental Association, the Washington State Dental Association and he regularly mentors other dentists in the area.

When not pursuing his passion in dentistry, Dr. Milner can be found spending time with his wife and their 5 children, mountain biking, back country skiing, bird hunting or hiking in the beautiful mountains of North Central Washington.

Dr. Eric Nelson, DDS

Dr. Nelson was born and raised in Chelan where he developed a strong appreciation for the beauty of North Central Washington. He attended Whitworth University, majoring in Biology and minoring in Biochemistry and Spanish. Dr. Nelson began his Dental School training at the University of Washington School of Dentistry and graduated with honors in June 2015. Upon completion of his Doctorate, he accepted a residency position for Advanced Education in Boise, Idaho with special emphasis in Rehabilitation Dentistry; including the fields of Orthodontics, Implant Dentistry, and Sedation Dentistry. After completing his advanced training in July of 2016, he returned to North Central Washington to practice.

Dr. Nelson believes that oral health is critical to a long, healthy, and enjoyable life. He has trained extensively in optimizing the longevity of teeth by studying the bite, the jaw, and the materials available to replace worn or broken teeth. This perspective includes maximizing the preservation of tooth structure through bonding techniques. He believes it’s an exciting time to be in dentistry due to the ability to use materials conservatively to keep teeth strong, an absolute win for the client seeking health.

Dr. Nelson is a member of numerous study clubs, and is driven to provide optimal solutions for his patients. Aside from his work at Fibonacci Smile, he loves spending time with his family. He and his wife Laney have two young children. When not with family, he enjoys the outdoor activities that take him to the mountains and waters of this beautiful area.

Dr. Nelson is passionate about dentistry and is thrilled to continue to serve patients of the greater Wenatchee Valley and beyond. He enjoys catering to the individual needs of patients, whatever they may be, as nothing is as gratifying to him as a happy patient. Dr. Nelson is excited to cultivate relationships with new patients and help them on their journey to holistic oral health.
